Well, you see, the thing is...I have more chapters of Watch Over Me to post, as well as a layout and a few chapters written of the sequel to Between State Lines, which is officially entitled Here Comes The Sun, by the way. But, uh, all of my current writing and all that is on this little green flash drive. Which is, uh, currently lost. And, I am beyond mildy freaking out because I cannot start over. My brain will not let me start over. So it's find that stupid little thing or die.
Good news. I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have thrown it away, so it has to be here somewhere. My room is just in quite the disarray due to a move in the near future. But rest assured, I will find the flash drive in question or I will start over. Which I really don't want to do, so I'm going to work super hard to find the stupid flash drive.
Also, NaNoWriMo is in less than a month. I can't believe it's been a year since I wrote Between State Lines, but it has. I really want to participate this year but I'm sort of running dry on ideas. Basically what I have is a character name and a setting. I'm holding on to the hope that it will fall into place, though, because Between State Lines started with a name and a sentence. so if I could make that work, I think I can make a name and a setting work. Here's to hoping.

But for this week, all I have is one more chapter of Watch Over Me (chapter FIVE), as well as the short story I wrote for the Spark Inside Challenge this spring called Number Two. So go check those out and let me know what you think.
I'm going to go work on that layout now.

Good news; I've been writing! This is definitely improvement. haha So I've been working on the sequel to Between State Lines, as well as Watch Over Me. The good thing about the sequel to Between State Lines is that it finally officially has a title. Which I will share with all of you once I get a layoutfor it, which I'm going to start working on as soon as I get done with this week's updates. So hopefully by next weekend I'll be a little closer to starting the posting process.

Because I haven't updated in a million years, I decided to go ahead and put up three chapters of watch Over Me, and depending on how well my writing goes this week, I may put up a few more next week. If not, there should be at least one chapter next week.
I've also been working on the elusive new Taylor story that is untitled. And I just wanted to let you guys in on a little something. The two main characters are Taylor and Ophelia. =) I'm really excited about getting it going somewhere, but it's been a process trying to stay true to their dynamic while throwing them into a new situation. I really hope you guys stick around to read that one because I kind of fell in love with the first one, and would love it if you guys continued their story with me.
Other than that, not much happening on the story front. I'm working on it though, for sure. I still have my short story that I wrote for the most recent Spark Inside Challenge that I need to put up. That will hopefully go up next weekend and then I'll be working on getting back into the groove.

Wow. I totally suck. I haven't updated since July. Life just got crazy. My best friend moved to California (and then to Arizona), I went to visit her (while she was still in California), there were going away parties and moving extravaganzas, work promotions, hospital visits, and just big life changes. This summer has been kind of busy for me, so I apologize now for that. But now Fall is right around the corner, so hopefully things will slow down a bit (although, I will be moving, myself, in a couple months time) and I'll be able to keep up. Unfortunately, while I was away not updating, I wasn't writing either. But this week I've been working pretty hard to get my mind back into the mindset, and it actually isn't going to bad.

I wanted to make the next update full with a story (completed or nearly completed) and a whole new layout and a bunch of goodies. You guys know me though, and I'm a procrastinator, so all I have is the first chapter of a brand new story that I've been working on for a while (off and on). The story is called watch Over Me, and yes, it's an Isaac story. It's the story I used as my Winte Slump challenge, and it sort of got a start there. But since then I've been trying to work on it. I only have twelve completed chapters so far, though, so if you guys like it, signing the guestook would really be a great motivator in moving forward and finishing it.
However, I also have another story that I would like to introduce to you guys in the next few weeks (hopefully). It only has about four finished chapters, but it's definitely something close to my heart that I would love to see materialized. All I can really say about it is that it's another Taylor story, but it has no title yet. That's how un-finished it is. haha Once I get a title for it, I'll make up a layout and get ready to start posting that one, too. And then you'll have two stories from me to keep up with.
And a quick thank you to Kate, Alissa, and Ally for signing the guestbook after the last chapter of Between state Lines and everyone who signed, or commented on it throughout the process. I really do appreciate all of the comments and feedback, and all of it encourages me to keep moving forward and trying new things.

Happy July, everybody! I hope you all are having a great summer. I know I am. Big things happening, keeping me occupied and busy. I meant to only take a couple of weeks after posting the last chapter of Between State Lines to get things together and ready to start posting the next story, but it ended up being four. Hopefully you'll forgive me soon enough.
